Participants will learn the fundamental roles and responsibilities of Board service, with emphasis on the Board’s governance role, including setting policy and planning for the future.

Orientation Express provides a perfect introduction for the new nonprofit Board Director. Current Directors looking for a refresher course are also encouraged to attend, particularly if your past Board experience did not provide an orientation. Participants will enjoy a light supper and take home a 30-page manual which may be shared with their organization.
