Building Long Term Sustainability for Your Nonprofit

10/29/2008 - 08:30
10/29/2008 - 12:00

A shifting economy and an increased number of nonprofits means a changing landscape for nonprofits. Staff and board are taking a hard look at program viability now and in the future. Foundations seem to fund new programs or collaborations and are less interested in providing ongoing funding. Take the first steps toward planning for your future, by attending this workshop.

You will learn:
How to lead, plan, and fund for sustainability
Strategies for thinking “long term”
Techniques for “funding outside the box” such as membership fees, products, and fees for service, etc
How to analyze your stability based upon funding sources
What might be unsustainable and how to bid farewell to a program
